Who is responsible for your information

Information you send through our forms

Contact form

First name, last name, email address and your message.

Quotation form

First name, last name, email address, country, the products or spare parts you ask about, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, company name and additional information.

How we use it

We use these details only to answer your request and, if you ask for a quotation, to prepare it and follow it up. A submitted form reaches us as an email to info@emsdia.com and as a notification in our internal Google Chat space. We do not sell your details, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use them for advertising.

We keep your request and our correspondence until we delete it. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Spam protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a form is sent by a person and not by a program. Turnstile reads technical signals from your browser for this check only; it does not set advertising cookies and does not show puzzles in most cases. Cloudflare handles this information under its own privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Visit statistics without cookies

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics and with our own visit log, both without cookies and without storing anything on your device. We do not store IP addresses. While a visit lasts, it is recognised by a code made from the IP address and browser together with a random value that changes every day, so the code cannot be traced back to you or linked across days. When the visit ends, 30 minutes after the last page, the code is deleted and the visit is given a running number.

A visit record contains only:

• the start time,
• the country and the approximate city (worked out from the network connection, so it is often the city of the internet provider),
• the type of device, the operating system and the browser (for example “iPhone · Safari”),
• the referring website and, if the link had one, its campaign source,
• the pages viewed and the time spent on each.

We use these records to see which pages are useful and where our visitors come from. A short summary of each visit is also shown to our team in an internal Google Chat space; it contains the same information and no IP address.

Information kept in your browser

If you add spare parts to the quotation list, the list is kept in your own browser (local storage) so that it is still there on the next page. It is never sent to us until you send the quotation form, and it disappears when you empty the list or clear your browser data.

How long we keep information

• Visit records: 14 months, then deleted automatically.
• Monthly totals, which contain no individual visits: 5 years, then deleted automatically.
• Form requests and our correspondence: until we delete them, or earlier if you ask us to.

Service providers

We use two service providers, who process information only on our behalf:

• Cloudflare hosts the website, the forms, the spam check, the visit statistics and the visit log.
• Google Workspace provides our email and the internal Google Chat spaces where form requests and visit summaries reach our team.

Their servers may be outside your country, including in the United States. We do not share your information with anyone else, except when the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what information we hold about you (access),
• correct it (correction),
• delete it (deletion),
• stop using it for a purpose you do not agree with (objection).

Write to info@emsdia.com. We answer within the time limits set by law. Visit records cannot be linked to a person, so we can only find them if you tell us the date and the pages you visited.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to other websites, for example our LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X pages. Those websites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update this page and its “Last updated” date.
