Ambulance conversion kit

Build ambulances in your own country. We supply a complete conversion kit for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ford Transit 350L or GAZelle Next, and train your local team to assemble it.

Two EMSDIA technicians build the first vehicles together with your team and supervise your production up to the fifth vehicle. After that, your team continues on its own.

Benefits of local assembly

  • Factory warranty on the vehicle. The base vehicle is bought new from your local dealer and keeps the dealer’s factory warranty and service network.
  • 2-year / 50,000 km warranty on kit parts. Workmanship of the local assembly is the responsibility of the assembling company.
  • One container for six ambulances. Kits for six vehicles ship in one 40 ft container instead of six finished ambulances.
  • Your own service team. The technicians we train can also maintain and repair the ambulances, so your fleet stays in service longer.
  • Local production in public tenders. Ambulances assembled in your country count as local production in tenders that favour it.
  • Registered in your country. The base vehicle is already registered and type-approved locally; there is no import homologation of a finished ambulance.
  • The right version for your market. You buy the exact driving side, engine and options your market needs from the local dealer.
  • Shorter lead time and local jobs. The kits ship while you buy the vehicles, and the assembly creates skilled jobs in your country.
